sigh ... my Sigma 50mm f/1.4 got back focus issue with manual or auto focus when set any aperture lower than f/4 ... its less than 1 month old ... now i cant use it for chinese new year cos their service center is closed already ...   

i tried the nikkor 50mm f/1.4G but didnt like the focus speed ...  sigh ...

Sigma's focusing sucks.

To me, the filters are just to protect the lens.

The D700 seems to be around 1 stop better from the pictures u have posted, well i only use the iso6400 on my d700 for emergency only
