The lens you can buy now and still be use on the future body that you want to purchase.
Since you never have primes before, try getting a prime lens for your D70. 50mm f/1.8D cheap cheap option.
ya thinking of that option too...get 1.8 lens , get dry box first.... then slowly slowly get D7000 body. but in before that i think i had to take camera to service.... where to service is good?
i think my camera and lens all got dust oledi...since i got 1 time bring DSLR to beach.
i guess that time the dust already invade my DSLR.
can see from viewfinder got a tiny dot there...suspecting is either lens or sensor got dust oledi....

i mean if i didnt open electric for few days or few weeks it wont spoil camera oh? ...it the "door" air tight?
