Get 60D if you are serious about video. If not, go for D7000 by all meant tongue.gif

18-70 cheap cheap lah, some more it's really sharp. Don't even need to think twice to buy that lens one.
IF budget allows, get 16-85. Lagi cun whistling.gif

Of course you are paying for more range and VRII. If you don't need VR with four stops improvement, doesn't use 16-17mm, plus prefer that half F-stop more 18-70 gives you at 70mm compared to 16-85 at 70mm, go for 18-70 then. wink.gif

Fyi, you only can achieve 8fps if you use MB-D10 battery grip with EN-EL4a battery, AA battery or power plug ya. smile.gif

I also dunno why. Every Canon black L lens appears damn plastic-ky to me also. But apparently, 24-70L is heavier than Nikkor 24-70. Gosh... shakehead.gif

Nope. 70-200 sleeps at home. 24-70 on D300 is tight enough already for that environment.
Besides, the temple was very very crowded, bro. When I was moving between the crowds, the D3s swings with the 17-35 mounted and hit a few people already. I have to apologize to them. sad.gif
