this is actually a newly bought 2nd hand car (year 2001 a/b). my dad did changed a few things including engine mounting, timing belt etc minor things (not sure what other minor things. mounting and belt is what i heard from him)

ignition system @ condition of spark plug - take out the spark plug and see? when engine cold (especially morning), easy to start. when engine hot, slightly harder to start.

condition of engine - not very sure but the drive is smooth. pick up also good.

cc - stock 4g13.

tire pressure - 190+..just pumped back on tuesday.

tire alligment - car move straight when lepas tangan means..allignment ok? not sure if have effect but it has power steering.

testing 2nd tank of RM76@ngam ngam 40L BHP95

Check your wiring & electrical component.

My car (LMST 1.3) normal FC is roughly 20km/liter.
They are so many ways to save on fuel.... Driving style(no unnecessary brake and sudden acceleration) your engine must be tip-top(no carbon build-up etc n ignition timing must be perfect), weight reduction (no unnecessary weight), tyre pressure according to your tyre spec, also check on your gearbox oil.

Hope this help.

but!!!!!dont prolong the method this because richer the fuel mixture.....higher the temperature of engine block/manifold/extractor become glowing/oil pressure sensor made by plastic and tend to melt!!!!!

so just do it several time and repositioning back the distributor.....

that's some really good FC.
my driving style is ok i guess. i rarely rev more than 3k and i'm always aware of the traffic in front of me
definitely not much unnecessary weight. my boot is practically empty (except the spare tire and the essential tools for puncture). default speakers, no amp. ICE soon to come.
tire pressure, should be ok. around 210 (13" ori non-sport rim)

maybe ignition timing is not that good.

currently still testing. already clocked 100km but fuel bar still above "F" blush.gif

Do "air ram pipe with 3inch air filter" improve car performance?

what is the effect after replacing the stock filter?

If you must do an air-filter replacement then you must ensure that the intake get the cold air from outside your engine bay..... make a proper heat-shield and preferably get a CAI hose...
