shud be correct...
u can use ur rom manager to select backup rom as well...but it is also the same with choosing backup in recovery...

if I root the phone, would my applications and the things i downloaded be gone?
and if I flashed a new ROM. would my applications and the things i downloaded be gone?

I got my own map downloaded to my phone.. Any idea i can install the map so i could use the map in Location.. No map available for the country i wanted so i downloaded myself and thought it could be useful for HTC locations

Anybody using desktop visualizer? Amazing skinning options.

unless you're using different launcher. e.g.: go launcher can sort app inside menu and put them in drawer. all my app just 4 page only.

same case with me. i let my frind play with my DHD for 1/2 hour, twice , last weekend he just bought one.
now there are 2 DHD in the office

root doesn't change downloaded installed apps!
flash a new rom also doesn't change the installed app.
but, if you do wipe which is recommended before flashing rom, then you need reinstall back from backup or the apps itself.

Using stock Rom can last for 12 to 13 hr play bit of game on9 customize setting changing wallpaper etc, will try flash to custom Rom . Evohd o leedroid better

how long did it took your dhd to partition your sd card of 16gb(class 6) using ROM Manager? Mine took 2h and still counting...is mine hang d?

uh help!
I tried to use the nandroid backup
but when i try to boot my phone into recovery mode
it reboots and switches on to an icon and freezes
the icon has a htc handset on it and a red triangle with an exclamation mark inside. what is wrong?

Do you install custom recovery ClockWorkMod already..?

totally new with android. previously all using nokia phone. fall in love with this phone on first sight damn bad ass big screen.

As other user mention b4, I'm also has a problem installing app from market on leedroid 1.5.0.
That's why v1.5.1 quickly appear just a day after that
btw, still like leedroid (the boot up is awesome), now downloading v1.5.1

How to root it ya? Any link? Sorry i'm newbie here ~
