When will they pay us the RM50 cashback for Maybankard2? Any idea?

That is true. Used my AMEX at 7 different places yesterday and all have been posted to M2U this morning

anyone here have swiped on Sunday and the transaction is posted the following Monday or after that but still manage to get 5% with M2 AMEX?

I have just discovered that one of my transactions with Maybankard 2 Amex last week have different transaction and posting dates. The posting date is 2 days after the transaction date. This is the tricky part of the 5% cash back, as we have no idea on whether the 5% cash back on weekend is based on transaction date or posting date.

spoke to a maybank2 card sales rep at a booth near the curve yesterday.

mention to him that my amex gold just got charged rm50 gst in feb, if i apply new maybank2 card will it charge another rm50? his answer is a definite yes. but he counter back by asking me to signup 2 autopay & will get 10000TP to offset the gst.

but my autopay had just all transferred to ocbc titanium.

Can give further details about the autopay? how to apply?

for maybankard2, how is the TP? both sharing one account of TP? and they say can transfer TP from old maybank petronas card, any charges or reduction of TP in doing so?

I checked with Amex and apparently the RM1 million payout for Dec was hit on the 16th and Jan on the 19th.

Does anyone know when the RM1 million payout for the months of Dec and Jan were made on M2U? IIRC, Jan was on 24th. What about Dec?

Card members are being victimised due to Amex's late announcements on its own website. For me, I made my purchases using Amex with the knowledge that the RM1 million payout had not been reached for a particular month because the website said so.

I am filing an official complaint to them and I am contemplating on whether or not to highlight this matter to the media and other channels.

from previous months payout,  jan 11 rebate will be in around 8 march

i have 3 cards now:

1. OCBC Titanium which i'm going to keep
2. HLB Essential which i've used for ages
3. AMEX Gold credit card.

If i were to go for MBB Dua card, i'm gonna have 4 cards which is kind of sucks. Still contemplating to cut down to 3 cards max.

I just called MBB CS, the officer said for Maybankard 2 AMEX 5% rebate will only be credited in next statement after the upcoming statement. So the rebate won't be immediate like OCBC TMC but the 5x points will be reflected immediately on upcoming statement.

It is confirmed that the cash back is based on transaction date, not posting date. My doubt is cleared.
