QUOTE(Phelddagriff @ Jun 3 2012, 03:07 AM) I've got a text asking me what Amex's corporate colour is to get RM100. Did anyone get this? Is this legit? It's not a scam. You've been shortlisted for the RM100 promo that ended a few months ago. All you need is to answer the question correctly and as soon as possible and you may just win the RM100.QUOTE(David83 @ Jun 3 2012, 04:07 AM) Yes. The free RM100 promo that ended a few months ago. They already started to send out such question like 3 weeks ago and they were supposed to publish the list of winners last week but as usual, they are late again. That's just Maybank... super inefficient |

QUOTE(intrexpo @ Jun 20 2012, 09:16 PM) I did not receive the sms that i won it. I was asked to answer the question as soon as humanly possible and it was stated in the sms that they will publish the list of winners on AMEX website. But it's been more than a month now and the have not published the list of winners online |

QUOTE(cutiecindy @ Jun 21 2012, 08:11 AM) What did you reply to the SMS, I received twice is it means that I won RM 200? I received it only once. You received the sms twice. That probably means you got in for two different weeks but it doesn't mean you've won yet. Results are supposed to be out by now but i have not heard anything since... I answer Y on Amex corporate color is blue.. Anyone got experience? This post has been edited by MilesAndMore: Jun 21 2012, 11:34 AM |

QUOTE(tinkerbel @ Jun 30 2012, 01:16 AM) @MilesAndMore, Let me assure you that you were never forgotten around here. Quite a few old regulars (that includes you!) rarely drop by anymore. Winner was very active last year and contributed a lot but he too, has since gone MIA. And the funny thing is, i mentioned you like just a few days ago in another thread. But i've totally forgotten in which thread i posted that. You should come by this section much more often. You are missed dearly Hmm... seems like "out of sight, out of mind"? ;( Have I been forgotten?! So, what's new here?! Looks like you have things under control.. great.. now I can go into full time retirement? |

American Express SafeKey® is now required for all online payment using Hong Leong American Express Card. With so many MBB2 AMEX bearing the same 4-digit CVV/CID, it'd be great if Maybank introduce this too.

QUOTE(Explorer II @ Apr 8 2013, 07:35 PM) Ah... i see i see QUOTE(Explorer II @ Apr 8 2013, 07:35 PM) It just happens that I have almost exclusively been using Shell service stations. And I heard from local friends that Amex was not accepted at Petronas stations here. Yes. I use Shell exclusively too. Some Petronas stations here do accept AMEX while some don't. Some Petronas stations even have the AMEX logo displayed outside their station but not all these stations accept AMEX... |

It's Karmaloop again. May be Maybank should just block all attempted transaction at Karmaloop unless the credit card holder calls Maybank to specifically instruct the CS to temporarily unblock it.

Actually this thing already exists and is applicable to AMEX issued by Maybank. It is called American Express SafeKey®. However, just like VISA VbV and MasterCard SecureCode, there is no use if the website doesn't support VISA VbV/MasterCard SecureCode. For instance, you do not need to key in this temporary password for Amazon to approve your transaction. Likewise, to purchase a ticket from Interpark Ticket Korea (normally for concert ticket), you would not have to key in any password or temporary password for Interpark Ticket Korea to process your credit card.

QUOTE(DAViS @ Aug 3 2013, 10:05 PM) Everyone noticed this because there are many people using this card here in Forum Lowyat, especially those who frequent this part of the forum. But in reality, many other banks have done the same. Citibank did it a few months ago and so did HSBC. |
