Parquet refurnish... Part of my house parquet has been damaged... I dunno how to explain.. Anyone has good contractor who also involved in parquet repairing?

The wood is soft.. i can press my finger onto the wood.. and it swollen..
Part of the wood is raised.

Any one please help?

Get rid of the termites by baiting them..much like catching cockroaches.. then only try to repair them..

You need at least a month to bait them..allowing the soldiers to carry the poison into the nest for the Queen.

If you are not too free, I suggest you let someone else do it. Same with repairing the parquet.

I, however, did it myself...as I enjoy a challenge-one..

When you ask the so-called experts, they make it sound like rocket-science one, very difficult-wor...very dangerous to your structure,wait your roof can collapse, all kind of freaking stories to freak you out to drop money for them to pick-up wan.

I think I already freaked you out... laugh.gif

if u have budget...change it into tiles
parquet always gives problem

walking on tiles in your bedroom and walking on laminated/parquet/solid wood are totally two different experience..
