What format are those videos of yours? Not all formats play on the default video player. For other formats you can try VitalPlayer or RockPlayer from the market.

IMHO the smoothest mkv player for me is Vital Player. Try looking for it in the market smile.gif

do u guys play mkv files on it?
my ipod used to be able to play mkv files w/o lagging..

Get vitalplayer and see if it plays your mkv smoothly. For the subs, use mkv sub extractor (from market too).

i am using vitalplayer for my mkvs...

The neon version? hmm.gif

Well, if you don't mind converting, get Handbrake (a video converter). It converts mkv nicely with the subs intact.

BIG PROBLEM

My home screen does not auto rotate to landscape, it only does when keyboard is slide out
The screen auto-rotates in apps, but not in home screen.
This is weird, tried restarting, pulling out battery even recalibrating the sensor, but still no success.

Has anyone ever experienced this before?
*
Recalibrate your G-Sensor, should work again after this.

P.S I don't think its actually supposed to auto-rotate in homescreen should it?

Sense UI
what? not rotating by sensor?

Well it did before!

There have been reports of others having the same issue, apparently it is not supposed to rotate by sensor. Just an odd bug or something by HTC that allows rotation for the first few days.

I think the home screen does not rotate, mine does not also. My brother Desire HD, does not rotate too.

Desire HD's one cannot be rotated, not at all. Desire Z's one is special in the way that it can actually go landscape in the first place (via sliding out the keyboard). As for auto rotate I cannot answer clearly myself.

weird flashing radio was never brought up in this thread, while in DHD they talk about it like eating rice.

Here's one that was supposedly working great for many:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=959488

Anyone with any experience with it? Just curious about how do I undo the flashing of a radio. Does restoring a nandroid backup undo it?

P/S: Liquid Metal port getting progress!

I can happily inform that the we've gotten the keyboard and buttons working. (no backlight on the keyboard yet though, not as important ATM) Thanks to HomerSp from the VillainROM crew!

I loled at your term of like eating rice. laugh.gif

Anyways, the radio is a seperate entity from what gets backed up via nandroid. Simply put, Whatever ROM you flash, whatever you backup, whatever you do in the /data partition, your radio does not get affected.
