Eh Arj, won't that special 'person' give u the Copperhead when it's released? I just got my DB Plasma, so chances are I won't buy this until they released the Goldhead or Platinumhead.

Just got myself a new MX518.
Should I use PS/2 or USB interface?

Is there any difference?

PS/2 only lets you run it at 400dpi.
and not sure if the specialized gaming drivers that they ripped off from razer would work in PS/2.

ripped off, cos logitech users have long used razer drivers to run their mouses til logitech noticed it and decided to do one for the mx518.

I thought sniping only need very low DPI will do?

High DPI thus make my movement faster, can you imaging driving a Howitzer like normal tank in DC?

I used the MX510, just didn't like the shape of it for gaming. Too big and felt funny after playing for sometime.

i think you have never tried razer mouse before.

professional looks? ...i think it's for your own taste.
and a professional mouse looks suspiciously for the 'on-the-fly feature'.

razer diamondback plasma is the best design mouse in my eyes so far...

hmm the red and green seem more interesting.
also if can check what the cost is of the upgrade kit for the customizable weights system and dummy buttons.
also from some other pics, looks like the copperhead is slightly taller.
