I haven't used the Logitech but personally, I have no regrets getting the Razer. I used to have the Logitech MX510 which has the same body shape as the MX518. I didn't really like it because of the shape and size. That is one of the main reasons I got the Razer over the MX518.

Lookswise, the Razer Diamondback Plasme Edition is one of the nicest looking mouse out there and it works really well with the Razer Exactmat. Whatever mouse you choose though, I highly recommend you getting the Razer Exactmat. It beats the hell out of any of the crap mousepads you've EVER used.

Here's another addition to my mouse collection, a Logitech MX1000. Received them as a gift earlier today thumbup.gif

I'll do some write up on them soon when I'm not busy playing BF2 tongue.gif

I'm keeping the box for my empty box collection laugh.gif

Of course it's a special person who gave the mouse to me. Non-special person won't give such item laugh.gif

Ahh, a computer enthusiasts' empty box collection. Mouses, mobos, GCs.. I'm wasting precious wardrobe space by storing those boxes.

What special person, I wonder? Post the pic?

Haven't tried gaming with it yet as it is not connected to m gaming pc right now. Being a cordless mouse, it is heavier compared to corded mouse because of the weight of the batteries. If you don't mind the weight then there shouldn't be a problem for the MX1000 to be used as a gaming mouse.

AFAIK the MX1000 isn't a gaming mouse, isn't? Just that it has a very high resolution..

No pics? DANG. I like pics.

if u are also talking about my xtrac zoom

then i strongly disagree

on new mousefeet suplied by razer , died in 1 month doh.gif

thats why i want arj punya icemat which CANNOT wear out laugh.gif

maybe it will , but 1000000000 times slower than my xtrac

get the razer exactmat tongue.gif
my mat now i'm using the control side cos my speed side worn out already.
but even then it took about 6-7 months for the speed side to wear out.
current mat is 1 yr old now.

oh yea, MX1000 isnt that heavy if compared to the MX700.
only drawback fo me is the MX1000has got a very wide base.
