i duno how they count for games developers, but anime and j-drama winter spans from nov to round end of feb... and I speculate it should be the same for both... So if they announce now, meaning we will only be getting it by next beginning of the year.. And... well, I do not see the reason for them to delay it for so long once japan get it.. SE been obviously hogging the international markets since FFXIII...

But, we did not get news on Parasite eve or FFIV release either... Oh.. anyway, lets just hope for the best!

Watched the trailer again and i'm wondering about the limit break ;p how crazy would it be if there is something like Noctis ultimate attack or team attack ;p going to be fk awesome.

yea... i seriously do want to see ultimate attacks.. preferably from all characters instead of just small attacks... but i think they will have something like KH...I love that battle system.. after limit break can combo... it will really make my day

Well im not sure how to put it but i dont think the planning of a game is as easy or simple as animes. Ff13 was released near a full half year after the jap version. Its one thing for them to spend time developing and its another for them to withhold a game on purpose. To me i think they release it when they feel their done with it and are happy with the final product. A game may require lots of effort and time to translate from jap to eng. Even more so when you need eng voice actors and perhaps an english singer to sing the main theme.leona lewis anyone,? Im hoping for a quick release also but im not new to the industry nor am i an idiot. Good things take time,masterpieces take longer. So se can have all the time they want if it guarantees a satisfying final product

aww no parasite eve ps3 news eh. but still, ff13-2 is good enough news for me. and versus looks good as well, tho not as hyped causes its been in dev for too long.

PArasite eve the 3rd birthday? or a standalone parasite eve game opn the ps3? For one i have absolutely zero interest in the psp game. BEcause its not parasite eve at all. That game tells of how Aya goes into a machine which can 'mind jack' opponents at will. So she takes over a body like a virus and runs low on health can jump to another body. IT focuses on shooting a whole lot when parasite eve fans knows the power of mitochondria. So,its stupid. :S

On the other hand,if parasite eve3 was announced,a true sequel to the ps1 games,then i'll be having a second nerdgasm in 2 days.

On a sidenote,the japanese trailer and the uk trailer went up almost simultaneously at the company's respective sites. As in square enic japan and square enix uk. People arespeculating,could this mean a simultaneous global release? Eng and jap version out the same day?

Well, SE did said that its due out next winter for english while Jpn is winter 2011... Jan Winter 2012 is also next winter of Jan 2011 (Kenot say is the dec one cuz clearly SE says Jpn is Winter 2011 if english oso same then why not say its a simultaneous release? unless they wan give a surprise?)..

but hmm... too ambiguous to say.. Japnese has their way regarding that.. But, SE had been giving some tid bits to EU lately.. Like PSN downloads and stuff.. Either earlier release than NA or cheaper... So People speculate PAL (NA oso ba) one is more likely a Jan/Feb/March release in 2012 since they did not say exactly that its winter 2011 worst come to worst is Oct 2012 but no one wants that... People straight away says it has to be beginning of 2012...Duno SE will listen to fans or not though...

Speculations have to be taken with a grain of salt thoug. Cant afford to munch on it like a kid on christmas mornng. Though its hard to keep myself from doing so Anyways, thx for the info but what i have learnt from SE is that things that people want may not necessarily be similar to what SE wants. Ala profit maximisation?

but who knows.we'll have to see. for now lets just be glad we get to play lightning in a much sexier costume.

Added on January 20, 2011, 10:07 pmedit : I just checked on the japan psn site and they have uploaded the ff13-2 trailer in FULL hd. REsolution 1920 x 1080. Size is 101 mb. The trailer for the english version isnt up on the uk psn yet. as of 10.05 pm today.

For anyone whose interested to download the trailer from japan psn,here's a few steps to do so.

1)Register a japan psn account
2)Login to ps store
3)On the main screen,scroll down to the bar that says 'PS3' at the beginning.
4)Go into that category
5)Choose the one that says 'PV'.. should be at the far most right of the first bar
6)FF13-2 trailer is the first icon for you to choose.
7)Download and enjoy lightning's sexy ass in full hd.
