Added on October 13, 2011, 2:30 pmyou probably have a higher chance getting static electricity using a brush like kahtsin than using vacuum

hm, looking from a neutral stand point. Seller posting was dodgy with the lack of proper proof for the 16GB ram.

However shychenko, you responded rather badly. There's no point scolding him publicly. You'll appear as abusive and that automatically puts you in the wrong, no matter how dodgy the seller was. Especially in the mod's eyes.

And if the seller happens to see this post, the easiest way right now is to open up the laptop you're selling, take a photo of the hard drive, and post it up. Or if you sold it already, ask the buyer to verify your specs. But you are oh so dodgy...

pretty sure from what i'm seeing for the benchmarks of the 128bit GTX560m there isn't any difference for gaming at fHD.. maybe 2-3 frames... but if your eyes so powerful maybe should consider desktop with GTX580 liao,

Added on November 1, 2011, 10:16 pm@riku, the bag i got is this > http://us.estore.asus.com/index.php?l=product_detail&p=894

so mine fits nicely

Added on November 1, 2011, 10:17 pmoh yea btw do you guys know if logitech malaysia sells replacement feet for the G700 wireless mouse? or will i have to turn to OEM?

@kalist0:
Bear in mind you still have to pay for shipping fees which is around 300-400 ringgit. And the warranty is 1 year global and 1 year accidental, here you get 2 years global. That 1 year accidental only for US customers. If the customs decides to impose tax on your package, then you have to go down there and pay tax, then only you can collect.

@kennyguy:
not much of a difference but the effect can be felt, for me at least.

I think stocks has been out already as they only bring in enough to cover orders, my advise is to order.

sien................... please dont make me resort to MAC. omg

lol ordering from gentech very easy, quite a few of us (16, see front page) got ours from them before asus dropped their local pricing. Warranty is still 2 years global, shipping is below 100 USD and you don't have to be bothered with custom if you use comgateway.

lol bushido, the usb placement imo were perfect. especially the dvd drive on the left since i'm right handed. The problem is the power port, such a shit location to put it. the cable its straight somemore.

why don't u just peel off the sticker if you hate it so much, personally i removed all the stickers even the intel and nvidia ones

Getting a gaming mouse, with a polling rate of 1000Hz does make a difference, you'll notice it more in LAN gaming.

here's a pic of my mouse, doesn't interfere with the usb ports.

well i went to order this morning from a close friend of my mum's. Apparently the shipment will arrive on Tuesday or something like that. I don't know about KL but for cases out of Selangor, apparently they will only start distributing the laptop if the minimum target of 500 units are reached. Lol means if i order my lappie and no one buys it for the whole year i won't get my order?? wtf asus.

why don't you just ship from america if you have to wait so long?

@kalist0, i think better to ask the shop to confirm for you rather than looking at brochure since its so inconsistent. is the digits at the back, is it the same btw?

check the benchmark for the hard drive, WD has a 5400rpm hdd that performs the same as other 7200rpm hard drives. no point switching to 7200rpm if there's no real world changes.

Hey guys, I opened up my G53Jw and noticed that the thermal compound seems to be leaking out? lately my temperatures have been higher than usual. You think this is the cause?
its the blue-grey thing that looks like blu tack
