i asked a retailer at sunway piramid today and he told me new sandy bridge laptops for asus will only arrive like in 4-5 months time...and that sandy bridge is unstable and prone to overheating =.='' he's probably trying to get rid of his old stocks first...

probably Asus wont arrive so fast, since they are not rush to battle in market, since they have a good reputation, like dell also not in rush to push the new sandy bridge

lol....asus own everything except for the extra 110GB hard drive only -.-
besides, a couple of friend of mine owns dell laptop and they are complaining about the quality which is terrible and always send back to repair. just sharing~

The Aus model have some improvements to specs:

8GB: 4GB
Bluray combo : DVD writable

hmm...the upgrades are nice but then the laptop price itself plus delivery cost cost a bomb....if for me, for that price prefer msi gt680
