AMEX Gold only can get 5X points on certain things while MBB 2 card can get 5X for all spending you spent!!!

Anyway, have anyone using AMEX cards register to their website?

But overall still know the main one la.. 5% cash rebate over week end for all with Amex. 5X TP.

Just can't remember the Amex Gold CC 5X is on certain categories only. Long time no use after using OCBC Titanium  thumbup.gif
*
if you use MBB 2 card, 5% weekend cashback + 5X treat points = 7.5% cashback and if you use to pump at Esso station then plus 2.5% more for the Smile points and all equal to 10%??

*

The answer is YES generally. However, sometimes the problem could come from card issuer (bank) rather than VISA/MC/Amex. Therefore, it would be good if you own another cc from different bank as a backup.

hmm.. i just got my MBB 2 card not long ago and havent use it yet. i hope can convert to 12 months installment without interest charge right??

well looks like you got to wait, haha but then again you still get 5X TP. With 2 ipads, you get more than 15000 TP, more than enough to offset GST already.

By the way, heard of MiFi, if not read my post on iTouch iPhone and iPad below:

http://ringgitwisefool.blogspot.com/2011/0...phone-ipad.html
well it is good that more people give comments so that others can see from many angels as each of us have different opinions. I myself sometimes post wrong info and other s will correct it. The person reading comments should always double confirm and not take what is written here as 100% correct.

as for erry, he does give info that is good but may be outdated and that may mislead others, for the case of smiles points where he mentioned his petrol station gave extra promotional points months ago and people like PPZ and jack 2 got the impression that they get 2.5% with Smiles Points.

i also hope i can wait but my mum cannot wait. sweat.gif

I think Maybank is quite strict in verifying credit card application, because I was asked to furnish a copy of the back side of my credit card.

Usually I only attach the front side and never encounter problem.
*
you mean MBB is very strict on approving credit card application?
