Why is HSBC making their promotion so cumbersome?

You have to spend the qualifying amount, then SMS your credit card number, and your transaction number to them between 10am to 10pm, for each transaction. And then if you are selected you have to correctly answer a question via SMS.

Couldn't they possibly make things a little easier by automatically recording all transactions that qualify and simply randomly selecting the winning entries? Honestly, I just couldn't be bothered to go through all that rigmarole for a very minuscule chance of winning anything.

Haha...i see people here are quite agitated. Ok, i get it thats just my opinion of using the word "spread", people dont have to follow(i hope). I'm talking in context of 0% ez payments (but as Gen-X) has mentioned, might be paying more for it instead, but still no interest charged right? So far i think i have managed my money quite ok,  no debts, overdrafts or things like that..
What i'm thinking is:
- if the CC fee can be waived(with min swipes..etc),
- no late payments.
- Rewards/cash rebates.
- 0% interest payment.
- rm50 gst is OK.
Then i can actually save? I dont mind people correcting me, i need to learn from experienced people.

i got the cash in hand, but i wana use it for savings/investment. Haha, i know its not really a good practice....invest what's extra and what ur prepared to lose right? hehe

RM150 is a per principal customer limit, not a per card limit. If you have more than 1 card, the RM150 will be deposited into the highest ranked card.

The CS officer actually told you your credit limit over the phone ? When i tried to ask the guy what is the credit limit granted to me, i was told that he can't tell me over the phone due to security issue. Well, that makes sense actually ...
