Can maybankard2amex be used at any petrol station??
*
Most Esso/Mobil/Shell accept Amex.
Most Petronas DO NOT accept Amex.
It doesn't take much time to take a look or ask the cashier when you pump petrol next time wink.gif

I found out that Petronas's petrol is more powerful and saved.

Esxx/Moxxx is lack of power and not saved.
*
Here we don't discuss about which fuel is powerful or saving. Because thousand people give thousand kinds of feedback.

For SCB Business Visa CC holders, is the 0.5% cash-back rebate creditted on Statement Date ?
*
Cashback is credited within 2 to 3 days after the trxn is posted. Therefore, any swipe done nearby the end of a statement month might have its cashback credited in the beginning of next month.

Does Insurance Monthly Premium entitle to 0.5% cash back on the SCB Business Visa ?
*
Winner bro has answered your question. However, I'd like to add. SCB Biz Visa does give cashback for online trxn. At first I doubt so, but not until I saw a cashback credited for online purchase of iTalk in TM Rewards. This might not be news to some, but it serves as reminder wink.gif

i wonder what will citibank do if i fax in a letter of cc cancellation?
i have been a long serving customer of theirs.... more than 5 yrs... holding a gold cc with 30k CL

will they brainwash me not to cancel? can then deman a higher cl n upgrade to plat?
or will they just cancel it/?
*
It depends on the bank's decision.
If they wish to retain you as Citi cardmember, they'll make new offer which they deem appropriate.
If they don't bother, they'll just proceed with cancellation and say 'We regret to hear that cancellation ...' blablabla...
There's no way you can threaten the bank to fulfill your whatsoever request.

Morning everyone.
I'm looking for a credit card that can give me rebate/cash back when buying petrol. My favourite is Shell, but if desperate I would take any nearby petrol brand. It would be nice if the card does not have annual fee or is waived after X number of swipe.

I've just started my career and my annual gross income is RM30k. Which card is suitable for me? All sifu please help. notworthy.gif
*
Either Maybankard Dua or OCBC Titanium Mastercard.
My personal advice is go for OCBC for less frustration. However, the choice is yours.

True.
I earn 24K p.a. but I still managed to get OCBC Ti without pledge FD. However, this may not happen to anyone. I just want to say 'No Harm Trying'.

I always apply cc using my DirectAccess Plat MC. This card has been with me for longest duration and has good payment record.

At first I got DA Gold, then got upgraded after 1 year. I didn't ask for upgrade, it's the bank's decision.

hahaha,,this is true.
I was offered Visa Plat as well, just before the implementation of GST. Utilized it fully at GSC, help ppl buy tickets, I myself didn't watch often.

luckily najib told his brother the secret - change everyone's anni date to dec and upgrade them, else i thk CIMB will suffer the most. all direct access cards used to come in pairs of master and visa, i thk now most hold only the master

and i have terminated their cards twice, once more than 5 yrs ago and once in 2009 after the refuse to grant me plat. but by end of that yr, almost all became plat automatically sweat.gif

preloaded means debit card, go and ask at the debit card thread

With the launch of GSC DEAL, I think Visa Plat will gain back some customers especially cinema kaki. The potential savings can be greater than Mastercard, if he/she uses the card everyday.

Get the first 2 cards, it can't be wrong.
To me, my DA VI is useless except for BT. Until now, my DA VI's transaction remains zero. But I will still keep it for the 0% interest BT programme.

My Visa Plat is also useless. All the GSC trxn were not mine, I only use it to help ppl buy ticket wink.gif
You can make good profit out of DA VI 'if you want to'.
Thanks to GSC Deal.

You buy GSC tickets in bulk and sell them later? This kind of business is too small and not my cup of tea.
*
I worked in a shopping mall previously. I went to GSC everyday to make only one offer (as specified in T&C). One month down the road, can make around RM100-120.

hi all.

Is there any benefit that i use UOB payonline service other than TMnet own portal for bill payment?
I remember that there's rebate but I cant find it on their official website (UOB)

am using OCBC card btw
*
Are you talking about RM2 rebate? That is given by TM for subscribing to autopay. Rebate will be reflected in TM bill every month.

Hi, would like to know Is payment at maxis centre eligible for 5% cash back> Even if we make purchase of phone from maxis centre?
*
Purchase of phone will use separate card terminal from the one for bill payment. Someone had experienced it at MAXIS CENTRE (IOI MALL, Puchong). He got 1% cashback for that transaction.

Submitted a letter to ask for upgrade from SCB Visa Platinum but they gave additional card. Need to call up to cancel the old card once I receive the new Business Visa Platinum.

As usual, charged RM50 for GST  cry.gif  BUT the CS says I'm entitled to the RM188 cash back upon first swipe.  drool.gif
*
wow, even existing cardmember also entitled?? So generous of SCB!!
Congrats to you too! SCB Biz Plat is one of a few Plat cards that offer unlimited access to KLIA Plaza Premium Lounge wink.gif HLB/PBB/CIMB/MBB2 Plat cards don't have this convenience pun..

Actually I take the CS word with a pinch of salt only.... If get RM188, then nicer, else I'm ok to pay RM50 as I can easily earn back the RM50 within a year.
I'm more concern to call for Annual Fee waiver ;-)
*
Me too.
SCB don't have black&white AF waiver condition. I'm worried too. When one day SCB refuses to waive, that will be cancellation day LOL. However IMHO it depends whether he/she thinks that AF justifies the number of visits to Plaza Premium Lounge..
