whats the cheapest price of dv6 you saw on lyp ? and in which shop?

RM 3999, but they upgraded a few stuff. Not the default spec shown in HP online store.

HP shop 3rd floor i think. not too sure.

and ask for that model, cuz there's no display for that model

Till now still haven't got anyone call HP and confirm it??

Apparently some forummer stated earlier the rm3299 is online price while rm4299 is retail price outside...

i called HP, they confirmed its RM 3299.

they were shocked when i told them resellers are selling at RM 3999, as HP said the real price should be RM 3299.

I guess if they dont sell higher their old stock would be very hard to sell.

Question: Then how is the heat when on load i.e while gaming or other Processor and GPU intensive jobs when compared to prev. gen. ?

Answer: I would rate it the same as the previous generation.
This thing idles at on average ~60c and shots up to +90c under full load.
The fan spins up quickly and runs fast under load, pumping out noise and heat like a mini hair dryer.

For some reason, when the CPU has been under load, the fan will shut off once it cools down, and then pulsates annoyingly off and on each time it cools a tad under 60c. The old generation model use to do this too, in that scenario.

I guess it quite a hot notebook, in a wrong way. Anyway, does HP Msia mentioned when the laptop will be shipped?

Yea dv6 are meant to be hot because of the slim design.. I already stated that a CM infinite can solve this problem.. My housemate's dv6 during light browsing around 60 also, but with CM infinite it's only 50-52
