Hey guys... just wanna ask here...
It might sound strange, but I actually love the analog clock on Gen.2.
It goes well with the (sometimes too)minimalist design of the car....

Any one here knows if it can be fitted into Persona_E? The part are the same (the panel with the clock I mean).

Are the color is the same with Persona's dashboard? If I'm not mistaken, change the dashboard color on the middle-age Gen.2 (not the first batch and just before CPS-ed).

Anyone wanted to sell the clock to me? New part from Proton cost around RM63 hmm.gif .

Lastly, I found this at Lelong -

http://www.lelong.com.my/led-logo-emblem-m...1-10-Sale-P.htm

According to the seller, the emblem just stick "between the original emblem and car body. (double sided tape provided on the module)". Is there anyway that we can completely cabut the original emblem and install this one?

Thanks a lot!

Is totally not make sense on which lube got warranty and which lube dun have. I will blast them up side down if they say that to me. Pls ask them to use their brain to think.
If only shell n petronas can claim warranty only, they should stated on their service booklet, brouche, website, car spec. They say like that is just scare hell of the consumer avoid bringing own
lube so that can purchase theirs at SC.
Example: try complain to castrol say their engine oil cause our PE engine breakdown and warranty was void due to their engine oil, 101% sure will the oil company said is the car manufacturer problem.
*
PROTON recommendation is only grade SAE 20W-50 or API for service SJ for our PE.,..which I found
very hard to find any lube with that grade...I believed they had done their R&D on that..

That grade commonly used for old vehicle, which already 'makan minyak hitam'... blink.gif ...

Even petronas syntium 800 is 15w-50...which most SC will supply us with...

I like very much castrol magnatac...really good lube...even used till 10K, still can feel the smoothness
of the engine.. no need those X1R or any engine treatment to do the job....not as shell or petronas.. doh.gif ...

The best thing is that JURU service center allow me to use it.... thumbup.gif ...

You guys usually use 5W or 10W?

Any ATF to recommend?

Thanks.

For the clock i have seen Persona retrofit in the digital clock from Satria Neo.. But a bit cacated lah. The clock blue color but the rest of the buttons all orange color.

They recommend that as the minimum requirement for ur engine.. So u can use SM specs and SN if it comes out lah..
20W-50 is mineral oil or heavy fully sync ube oil for turbo engines.. Even the SC all using 10W-40.. So surely it wont void the warranty lah.. U can go for 5W-30 if u want.. But dont go too thin like 0W-20.. Then ur engine wear and tear will be very high..

Magnatec oil clings to ur engine parts instead of flowing down back into the oil pan when ur engine is not started.. So starting the engine in the morning is very smooth and easy..
ATF can try to use Redline.. Quite highly recommended around the Web..
