i don't miss torres that much, his last games wasn't as committed like he used to be. i'm more interested with the new owner, new manager, and the players that comolli had involved buying, and it gives a new possibility that we're gonna get better than the 7th place in the league

John Brewin: We hear from a source close to Torres that he is still in Liverpool waiting to be allowed to take a medical. I think that means Liverpool want to be sure of Carroll/Suarez first before letting him go. It will happen, but if not, he will be as popular on Merseyside as a Sir Alex Ferguson book signing.... Monday January 31, 2011 7:24 John Brewin 7:27 Chris Murphy: It appears that the fee for Torres has now been set. Clearly Liverpool were waiting to get Andy Carroll down and sort out his terms and his medical before Chelsea could get the go ahead. |

6m (babel) + 45m (Torres) = 51m
23m (suarez) + 35m (Caroll) + (10m adam) = 68m Total net spend = 68m - 51m = 17m Possible for a new winger signing? |
