Sandy Bridge is new processor from intel which will replace the old one named Arrandale. It's performance getting higher especially in visual.
Added on February 13, 2011, 11:03 pmHDD the slowest! Maybe i like the number 5 more than 3..love i5! XD Added on February 13, 2011, 11:04 pmSandy Bridge use same power as Arrandale... This post has been edited by JYong: Feb 13 2011, 11:04 PM |

SSD is too expensive la~with smaller capacity. 160GB already RM1000++ have super fast reading speed but slower write-in speed..

QUOTE(JYong @ Feb 13 2011, 10:39 PM) Asus emphasized it's products' quality, so delayed the time to launch sandy bridge notebook to ensure the products are fault-free...^^ hm... my experience with ASUS products so far... wouldn't really say their quality is what i expect....Added on February 13, 2011, 10:40 pmAbout RM2899~ QUOTE(lee_what2004 @ Feb 13 2011, 11:09 PM) only works if that is mobile rig... getting 90GB for RM7xx is safer too. |

hm... imo just getting the sandforce controller one will be enough, regardless of brand since those speeds will be so much better than a 7200rpm hdd, you'll feel a massive increase... better to get the cheaper sandforce one.
btw... thinking about getting getting ssd as my main drive... 750GB as my data, and the 500GB put into external? @lee, what do you think? overkill? or invest that money in something else? btw thinking about getting around 60GB only... |
