any other laptop that is comparable to Acer 5750G within the rm3k budget? thinking whether to just change the mobo or just get the full refund and buy something else.

Lenovo y560p - same specs but GPU 6570m (some say is better than gt540m others is the other way around) @RM2999
Hp-dv6 - Same specs but GPU 6570m GDDR5 @RM3299
Asus N53SN - Same specs but GPU GT550m 2gb GDDR3 @RM3699

are the 3 listed free from the defect now? what i mean is, if i want to get full refund now, what laptop that is comparable to 5750g should i get... as far as i know, the three above are being recalled. just want to ask the laptop that is available now. hope my rephrasing can be better understood.

but its the N53SV (i5 dual core) not the N53SN (i7 quad core). The i5 was release after the issue wan annouce and it is not affected. So the SV model might arrive early la.

hey guys , i wanna ask is it i buy the A53SV and do i need to install something first ? or i can just simply copy paste METRO2033 and play the game as well?
*
installing is much more safer than copy paste cause that game might install something to the registry of your current computer
If your worried bout ur saved files, that wan can just copy paste

Added on February 27, 2011, 7:10 pmDoes anyone know the N43SL is i7 quad core or the i5 dual core???

ok then , so after i bought it , i copy paste the setup and install ,and i can start playing the game? no need to do setting or install any disc they giv to me? sry this is my first laptop
*
Actualy u can just directly click the setup from the DVD. It will then install in your laptop. Don't really need to copy whole dvd to your laptop unless you wan to save your installation files in your HDD
Btw which laptop you just bought???

I thought you were asking how to install the Metro2033 game la.
Laptop they don't give cd for GPU or Mobo etc. All laptops have preinstalled dirver la. They only give windows recovery dics.....some only la. Most OEM put the recovery partition on the HDD
