Either that or I should raise my standard higher..

Thx to those who showed up today. Too bad for us that sunway cannot provide better courts. An additional court would be good as well.

hahah inv not really lah, I will use the racket once I buy it, for collection the racket must be brand new, for new release's , except for old/vintage racket, then no choice, used condition accepted loh.

I rather stick to one racket then have multiple rackets of a different brand/stiffness/flex/feel,etc.
*
The problem with wilson is that even the same racket have different stiffness/flex/feel/weight... hahaha..

Added on March 16, 2011, 11:20 amActually, it happens with Babolat as well, the only difference is that babolat put a 'disclaimer' in every racket in the form of (±7grams) on all their rackets...

By just looking at the throat of the 2 rackets, i would have guessed a k6.1 90 & 95...

Added on March 16, 2011, 8:10 pmPrae: lucky for you there are still tons of k6.1 lying around... n I still have 2..

Gamma heheheh buy that sucka, if you get good at stringing, well you should after 20-40 jobs, my recommendation is string the first 35 rackets FOC, coz you, yourself are learning, once you become proficient , only then charge for your labour , depending on the amount of rackets you have to string for, my best bet, is you will probably pay for the stringing machine in a year or 2, and whats more after that, your baby is bought and paid for....its a good deal, if you ask me. :-D
*
After a few years, I can put 'usrsa certified stringer' behind my name liao.. Haha... seriously, sgd1900 is a lot of money, and the gamma package here doesn't include strings for you to recover some cost.

QUOTE(grinner @ Mar 20 2011, 11:47 PM)
Hello all. Jumping right in, I started playing tennis because of Fraulein Forehand, the irreplaceable Steffi Graf. Back in 87, 'was at my best mate's house and he was a huge tennis nut, with tennis magazines and videos. The first time I saw steffi play, I was hooked. Bough an old racquet off my mate and followed him to practise later that evening. Another reason was also because I found out the girl I was interested in then had also started taking lessons, so maybe it was to be, eh? Didn't really follow much of the men's game, though I preferred edberg to becker, and johnny mac made everything look so easy. Perhaps why I stick with adidas and really fond of dunlop racquets till this day.

...and I like players who look like they hustle to win, so the samprases and federers who seem like they hardly ever sweat on court are out, while the agassis, changs and nadals are tops with me. personal favourites are agassi and safin. smile.gif

now this guy has been missing since god knows when... good to know that you're still lurking! tongue.gif haha..

Added on March 21, 2011, 11:47 amquick question, i'm looking for a stand-in for my 4d100. the racquet must be at least 98sqin, have around the same swing weight, preferably lighter and must be priced less than RM400. any idea guys? how bout those head microgel rackets going for rm250? which model will resemble the 4d100 closest?
