teh phone only good until taking decent picture and open loud loud music and thats all

HI.. i'm a proud x6 user too.. i plan to upgrade my firmware to v40.00.02 but scared my chinese fonts will disappear.. such thing happens to my n81 and i can't read chinese using that phone..

guys.. is there any method for me to preserve my chinese font while upgrading my firmware??

yeap.. my current firmware is v12.0.091... a lot of crashes lately and making me hav to hard reset my hp frequently..

any idea on how to upgrading my x6 firmware?? thanks bro.. i'm still a newbie..

you can change the product code if you need chinese. Then you just need to download Nokia Software Updater, connect the phone in Ovi Suite mode, done.

Own a Nokia X6-00 16GB.
Always error message of "Memory full.Please close some applications" when i'm using the Ovi Maps GPS or surfing website which have heavy graphics.

I'm not using any other applications at that time, and yet the error come out.
At times, the phone will automatically shut down.
Search thru google and found out that X6 is only having 128 MB RAM which is a serious issue for those who wana use GPS or heavy surfing.
Disappointed with X6 as i have been always a loyal Nokia fan.
My next phone would be most probably HTC or Apple.

S60v5 is actually a very disappointing OS for Nokia. I use a CFW on my phone and I don't encounter the memory full problem as much as I did before I used CFWs on my X6. But to be honest 128MB RAM is too little for proper web surfing using the largely inadequate browser. Hope you forgive your poor phone because it was a victim of Nokia's bad decisions.

Anna v7.5 gooding? got issue or not? Flashed my friend's X6 with SkyFire Belle v2.1 but got internet connection problem

I don't know mine is slightly customized... added the Shadow camera mod, etc etc. Anna seems to be working well, stable all the time.

Ur words make me feel sorry for my X6 phone afterall it is still a very good servant to me. In fact, X6 camera beat the crap out of iPhone 3GS camera anytime

Can ur CFW still use the GPS ?
I'm going to look for Anna 7.5 interface on youtube.

If it is really good, i might need ur wise knowledge to teach me to CFW.
