Well, it's impossible to avoid bumping into these kind of people. Just ignore them, move along & know that you don't belong in the same group as them.

If my friends mentioned something about pirated games, I'll either educate / lecture / change the topic / make the indifferent facial expression, depending on how close they are to me.

But I think USD5 still a good bargain.

I had that problem before. Re-install is the only solution for me.

Now what you need to do is download the updates. Once the update is done, backup!
Then uninstall and reinstall with backup. Pray that it'll work.

I learned this the hard way, I have to re-download the whole thing since I didn't backup.

Kindly note though that it uses TAGES DRM.

TAGES DRM + Windows 7 64-bit = FAIL. I can't play this game at all as the TAGES DRM driver is blocked by Windows

Really? Which version you're playing? The retail or Steam one? I'm playing the retail one and Windows instantly blocked the driver, had to play it on other PC

actually this might sounds not so bad, but I wouldn't want any games with this rootkit in my pc.

but i don't mind to get is as a free gift and install in my testing rig

Oic, don't really like Tages DRM because of installation limits.

Limit is one thing, and I guess the retail version didn't have the latest TAGES DRM driver, maybe that's why I'm facing such problem

in short, after you activated 3 times liao, u have to wait 30days to get back all 3 activation limit.

I prefer the online type than limit installation type.

It is difficult to imagine having a PC at home that is not connected to the net.
