Well, is it good?

Been trying to read reviews.

I have a MX518, and probably it's time to find a successor. The sensor seem to be a bit haywire.

Seemingly I get the best speed if I set mine to Singapore. - 160~190kb/s

For Malaysia, fluctuating between 120~150kb/s, for Taiwan/HK it's around 130, no higher than 150.

Yea, the sensor is a bit off.

Hard to play shooters with it.

Nah, i dont have a mouse pad, though.

How did the mice even get close to your rabbit?

Mouse pad helps a lot...At least bottom of your mouse wont get scratch and mouse movement also improve quite alot..using steelseries qck+ ( biggest size one), very satisfy with it..paid like rm70 for it

I bought an MX518 recently. Good mouse and great for gaming. But I think my middle scrolling button is a little faulty, sometimes when viewing webpages it jerks while scrolling. For playing games I would recommend highly though. Has a great grip.

Try the following mouse:

1. Roccat Kone + (have this, similar to Logitech MX518, slightly smaller)
2. Steelseries Optical (tried this, quite similar)
3. Logitech G9x (have this, a bit too small, currently function as my travel mouse)

For mousepad:
1. Steelseries Qck+ mousepad does not work with Roccat Kone+.
2. Generic Fellow mousepad with wrist pad works with Roccat Kone+.
3. Logitech G9x works on both mousepads.

My Logitech MX518 is currently my office mouse. My last Logitech MX518 lasted for more than 6 years.

the smaller size one will cost around rm40. razer one is 6mm thick, steelseries 4mm.

FPS gamer or RTS gamer normally use the biggest one because MOST competitive player use very low mouse sensitivity(for FPS like cs1.6)
