yeah rrp for xl 2011 is 40 bux.. after 50% its still 20 bucks

2011 is already released.. word of note.. 2011 and 2009 is 90% same..

only difference is 2009 has tons of bugs and crashes and etc..

while 2011 has less.. read the history of 2009 n 2011.. then u will know its a waste of money to get 2009 to get the 50% discount on 2011..

might as well wait for discount on 2011 directly

I won't deny the similarity. After all, e.g. COD 1,2,3,5,MW,MW2,BO all also 90% same. You still holding guns and kill.
But why not we just don't buy any new game during release and wait till discount then.

well from what i understand 2009 is a real buggy game and ctd alot...

while the newer "patched 2011" version is better

ppl are complaining 2011 is a patched version of 2009 but its sold as a new game..

Yeah, I know that way before XL Cities was even released. I remember i downloaded the beta game to play, then bought them off @ 75% discount in Steam.

But I don't think it's fair to say that 2011 is patched version of 2009 game and sold as new game.

This will go same with Starcraft series especially.
The funny thing is, I don't find any bugs in the old Cities XL anymore. I'm not sure who buy with me that time but so far I've play, no bugs :S

no funny bugs anomaly in building megastructure.. eg unable to move to next phase and sorts ?

played with 2009 cpt jack... lucky didnt waste money on it.. at least 2011 is better but still got some bugs here and there.. waiting for it to go to sales

Like I said, there's bugs, but mostly were fixed before the game released. Then it's the matter of time before the online feature is gone.

I have played citixl, even put overnight
no memory leak, i dunno when u read those, probably been fixed long time ago.

This arent much bugged compare to Fallout 3, or The Witcher which until now, the patch hasnt sucessfully patch the crash and alot of bugs
