Hi, my m11x's keyboard led bar's colour...i see certain part colour is darker than the others, this means the led spoiled?

dun think so... mine here is the same...

Dell technician comes over to my campus today. He takes two hrs to check and attempts to fix the problem. He told me is the tape connected to motherboard loosen that's y can't start. He said this problems always complained by m11x owners. I asked him if after fix will last how long? He said six months only. WTH==. well. after he reassemble the part again..but The laptop still can't be turned on. Finally he notices the actual culprit is faulty power button after two hrs of repair attempt. == he said Tis is the first case so he didnt bring the spare power button along mean I gonna for next monday for him making a visit to here again. Haizzz. JUST wonder M11x really got so many problem? Hinge problem is not enough for us to worry? ==
BTW I have asked him for the free hinge replacement after warranty expired. But he said Dell Malaysia nt yet let them know.

Hmm... Buying notebook also like buying car, need some luck. Just treat it bad luck for this power button. I also been very gentle on opening and closing the lid so hope hinge problem never comes.

so far my only m11x problem is the hinge getting loose only, nth else..

Thank gawd I settled for the M15x instead of waiting for the M11x 2 years ago~

M15x rocks! but sometimes ... there is some problem... software problem...duno why ...last time i got a alienfx error at the startup, after restart then solve d....

Well i did stumble on a problem that my M11xR1 cannot be on using battery power alone...
so wat i did, i open them up and disconnect the battery terminal and reconnect it back.
now back to normal de.

After the fix of my hinge last time ...up till today no sign of hinge issue here...let just hope it stays that way..

BTW my M11x no more warranty de so i open them up myself..

hope dont get prob wif my m11x..carefully use it...mostly when open the lid..to avoid the hinge prob..

how do i check whether stealth mode is on or off? cos i cant see the blue image... when i press it .. nothing come out... just some a sound...

OSD didn;t install ?? it happen to me few days ago as well..juz guessing..xD

installed osd d ... but sometimes happens...

bold : i know that part. you only able to see that tape once you remove the touch panel only.

and what did he mean by power button defect? can you observe anything physical?
