yeah..been using my sgs almost a month actually..from stock to 7.6 and now 8.0..

use v8.0 for some time...
is nice so far...batt usage ok...
not as draining lar (for me)
at least normal usage can last 2 days...(minor call,sms,wifi + 3G data sometimes,slight gaming)

yup thats right...battery is goood..still running since 2d 4h 12m unplugged ..21% juice left..but im not a heavy user anyway..

I dunno but for me Darky's 8.0 + Advanced Voodoo v666+2 seems to be the best. Tried the Speedmod K12N kernel but seems to have some random lags particularly when accesing my inbox and even gallery.

2 days of usage you'll consider as batt godmode already...hehe

I encounter lag and stop responding problem with on Facebook app on Samsung Galaxy S. It happened to mine and my friend's phone as well.

May I know if there is any solution to this?

Facebook app is crappy on Android. It is the app itself. I would rather login thru the browser. It is much better.

The problem is that I don't keep old roms. I don't wanna go as far as finding and downloading an old ROM just for one app

oh nope, first i was applying the tweaks, and the same time i apply the lagfix too. then its messed up there. before this, i usually do things once at time. now after that, restore a backup in recovery after factory data reset, so right now everything is okay like usual. well do you have any idea how to restore the dbdata.img file back?

yeahh, i'm like "WTF is happening to my phone?!"

find that darky 8.1 rom is more worst in battery

where is d change log of 8.1?
didnt c it...batt span is worse than 8.0?
