wah, u so berani. i dont even have a guts to open my phone yet. lol, btw the JPP modem is really good for me so far. last time when checking the maps or using foursquare, i always got 200-400 metres off from my location, but now it only shows 60m accuracy. thats a satisfaction thumbup.gif

just want to share my short opinion between jpy and jpp modem;
(i'm in egypt.)

jpy:
-noticable quick battery drain if you on 3g/wifi connection
-gps lock is sometimes good, but your location maybe off 200m++.
-no problem on call, the sound is clear.
-during idle mode, the battery drain is average(maybe up to 8-10% per night)
-listening to music, the battery consume pretty much too ( dont remember sangat.)

jpp:
-if you on 3g/wifi, the battery doesnt drain that fast compare to jpy.
-gps lock is kinda poor but you can get your location up to 50m. you only can get 2 options, whether get a good gps lock and location, or no gps lock at all at a time.
-for idle mode, i experience only 2-4% lost per night.
-on music, its quiet good. i listen to the songs in volume up to 10-12, the battery drain only like 4-8% for 2 or 3 hours.

maybe after this want to try the zsjpe modem.

well, its just only my 2 cents. smile.gif

My thoughts on Doc's and Darky.

Doc's rom feels tested, fast, stable and it runs perfect after a few reboots. Everything works the way it should, boot up faster, load apps faster, scrolling is smooth and I like how humble Doc is after all this great roms.

Darky's feels so so oni la, it doesn't quite live up to the hype darky said about his roms (ultimate rom, the fastest, snappiest, speediest, like a revelation bullshit and everything) and I am going back to Doc's rom after a day of testing. Bye darky.
*
okay, thanks guys. maybe after this wanna change to doc la, tertarik with the new JS3 somehow. hoho, so is it the battery life in JS3 is much better than JPY? maybe after this going to bright sight sudah. smile.gif

Yes, i actually found darky ROM harder to flash since 8.1. It's can't flash using Eclair ROM anymore. You must flash to 8.0 and set the configurator to flash.

lets go to the bright side. hoho

I always take wipe version everytime I change base - JPY to JS3. Need confirmation from others if non-wipe gives no problem.

Yup, mbbs.

oh, i see. i'm mbbch. icon_rolleyes.gif

so, for the backup thing, i can just do the backup from recovery speedmod kernel right? if im not mistaken, thats the nandroid backup right? after cook the rom, just flash normally like darky kan?
