I will go android but will keep my symbian too

guys, i had this problem recently..whenever my phone shut down.. it cant boot, need force hard reset only it will start.. anyone got this same problem? im using vortex fware

i personally like meego alot, it has less apps but very customizable just like maemo

HELPP!!!!!! droped my 5800 on the floor then screen wen black with sum lines.......dont tell me the scree is gone....its not broken yet....

Unfortunately yes, most probably the screen is gone

need to open/dismantle the cover and screen, usually the cable and its connector got loose due to drop and shake... my 3230 got a blank screen with a few lines after my kid throw it to the floor just like what youre facing now, found that the ribbon cable connector is a bit loose...

push it in properly and the screen is fine... if it crack, then got to buy a new one lar...

I like android's live wallpaper and widget, especially motorola's motoblur widget

anyone can recommend me any apps for twitter? currently using snaptu or nimbuzz for twitter.

I think twitter got its own symbian client, I have used it once, just search for it at ovi store.

Guys, I am looking for some accs for my 5800s and I want to know what's your review of these 4 types screen protector (clear/matte/mirror/privacy). Which one are you guys using on your phone? And if using casing too, please state as well like Epikcase or standard Nokia casing, etc. Also needing a phone holder for in the car too, any brand/model suggestion? Can't drive and hold phone for gps at same time lah...haha

clear : nothing special, just protect ur screen and highly visible
matte : 95% visible, anti finger print
mirror : 90% visible, but difficult to see under the sun
privacy : just to protect the view from the side, so that other people won't saw ur screen

Epikcase is grade A and better quality than others case selling out there... maybe some other forumer can add more comment on those... haha

Nokia Center got sell the original car holder, look shorter and nicer, but expensive... recommended go for normal cheap car holder where u can buy from any communication store...

I think my red 5800 is clear while the other blue 5800 is matte (not sure coz I didn't bought them). For comparison, I think matte is better because my clear one is oily from fingerprint touch and when reflect under the light, clear one show more fingerprints Matte at first seems darker than clear but when compare side by side, not noticeable much.

As for privacy, I think I saw it today when the boss show me his iphone and I cannot view clearly from the side, I thought why iphone screen so dark wei... save batt ar? Now I think back, must be privacy! Mirror reminds me of my china phone which i super hard to see under the sun...not a phone to use outside!

Woo... so Epikcase better, eh? I got one Capdase casing with me and find it hard to unlock with side scroll because the gap very small to reach inside to scroll downward.

Expensive means out of my reach I am thinking of some cheap RM20 universal phone car holder...hehe

Normally is better to get matte for touchscreen phone.
Is very annoying when you have to wipe all the fingerprints after using.

as for using gps, i just put the phone on the dashboard meter, so i can see it clearly, right in front of my two eyes...
but some car cannot put anything on the meter cluster larrr... lucky my car got some space to put the phone...
