Walabies which colored-sounding headphones u recommend: DT770 or 770 Pro, Shure SRH840 or any others?
*
The more colored ones is Alessandro/Grado, or even the Denons.
If you really want to pick among them I will pick 770 pro. 770 we will have no stock.

I kinda asked this question in the V2 thread but since we have V3 I'll ask again here.... will Jaben be stocking Sony's new flagship IEM? The MDR EX1000.
*
Yes if you really request. I might even need you to put in deposits. The SRP is really high at 799USD before tax.

I see, I was hoping to give the Sony an audition and compare them with other IEMs. Thanks for the info.

Very expensive indeed. I think the price is close to a Future Sonics custom.

Yea, I was gonna recommend FiiO as well. Try the E5 but stay clear if you want to use them to drive full sized cans, I don't think they'll help at all nod.gif

HI, the mod is to done for the line out portion, the internal amp is still usable as we do not do anything on it. Once you connect from the bottom part, you get the modded sound biggrin.gif

I'm surprised there's no Westone appreciation thread in LYN. Someone should start a thread for all Westone lovers nod.gif

Does anyone have recommendations for a good headphone for up to RM300? Would like to read some additional reviews and go audition in Jaben when I have the time =D

I want to ask also.
What IEM can give good bass(i.e punchy but not muddy) at low volumes? I'm getting sick of pumping out volume to get bass. I see Future Sonics can do it but I want to know of other alternatives, reviews on these are rather mixed(some say good bass with only slightly lacking detail, some say muddy and lack soundstage, some say brings out hidden details rclxub.gif ) And preferably under RM1000.
