hoping for a better 2nd half. I reckon that we will play 4-5-1 in the 2nd half.

aku demam. mana ada jinx. hahaha. tengok match td buat tambah panas je badan. LOL.

On the match, fair result. Vidic was easily MOTM for me. Crouch doesn't stand a chance. Lucky that we have VDS also. Experience clearly needed in this sort of match. On Mike Dean, well that's the beauty of football. You have decisions go and against you. Fair enough.

I thought Giggsy was poor. He should've been subbed out and move Rooney to the left. That said, Rooney's first touch also like shite. LOL. BTW, how can anyone slag off Berba? That is so lame. He rarely get the service. Our midfielders were almost invisible throughout. Nani had a quiet game, Rafael on the other hand was amazing.

Still 50-50 between him and Bale. I personally thought that he won the battle yet again. Modric was great. Special shoutout to him and again VDV is ordinary. Lennon also was quiet for most of the match. Is it just me or that our defenders have learnt to intercept balls before going to opponent's wingers?

Oh well, still on top of the table with 2 AWAY games to be played. And these matches might just be our title deciders.

Lennon is clearly the fastest player on the pitch today. Chicharito being second, but he has an advantage of coming on second half. Lennon has been on pitch for the whole game.

gila.
*
Mana ada. Chicharito was the fastest. Lennon had the start before Chicharito started to run and ditched a last minute tackle. Perfectly executed. LOL.

BTW, on my twitter timeline, ABUs are upset that Spurs didn't win. LOL.

it was Hernandez, he tried to pass the ball to Giggs, but not enough power.
because it was a studs-out tackle, considered dangerous. and he got a bit of whoever he's tackling even.

Added on January 17, 2011, 2:40 amthe more I think about it. maybe the entire midfield is not doing jack to help the strikers, but helping more on defence (and at the same time, giving more burden to the defence because not holding on to the ball even more)
*
still it wasn't 2 footed with showing studs. Yellow was fair.

No creativity from our CMs until Ando subbed in.

This.

Carrick actually plays a role similar to sergio busquets of barcelona - that is to read and intercept passes from in and around midfield or to wingers. His job is then to do a simple lay-off to fletcher or one of the wingers. His main role was not attacking in the first place.
*
thing is, we were exposed to his majestic gameplay from his 1st season with us. if he could rediscover that form, we won't be struggling.

QUOTE(SGSuser @ Jan 17 2011, 02:43 AM)
lucky we didnt bought the other botak central defender who is error prone particularly in the game before ours...and to think they compared him to our captain rock-solid when he was bought by them is very laughable now

lalala

i see what you did there. later, they come and rush here pulak.

Chill people. like i said, neutrals and non United supporter want us to lose. There's one particular fren whom supported Pool. His tweets last nite are full of hatred and as usual have that holier-than-thou attitude.

IMO, I thought the penalty was soft. I pity Everton. Clearly, without some of their best players, they almosf won it. Cahill, Saha and Pienaar didn't play. Anyway, just ignore those posts, these people can come up with anything.

It isn't as lopsided as some here will tell you. Even possession stats show 43% vs 57%, despite United playing with 10 men in the last 20 mins.

The game was rather even and I thought either side could have won it.
*
We had better chances, IMO.

Unfortunately, all four attacking players weren't playing well. Apart of VDV's header and Crouch's shot, they weren't really threatening. Vidic had it all covered.

I just hope when we go to Blackpool next week, we will be able to pull a win.

Even a certain Frenchman also scared of Keano. At that time, that Frenchman was trying to bully Gazza. LOL.
