Ratios are too heavy for a heavy bike (in this case; a DH bike) if you're using road RD and cassette. But it'll help you speed downhill...
I think there won't be much climbing unless you really have powerful legs.
Btw, I've seen people using road RD and cassette on XC bike (mesti kuat nih) sweat.gif

p/s: FRIM entrance fee for a person RM5, for a car RM7, IINM.

Well, just to make things clear again... I'm referring to RD, rear derailleur, not cassette rclxub.gif

But since we're skewed to the subject of the cassette. Why does using the road cassette makes one goes downhill any faster than another person using a mtb cassette? Both road and mtb cassette are havingnthe highest ratio of 11T?

Would a closer ratio gear combo makes one goes faster? If so, why is that? hmm.gif

well, that's still ok compared to Bukit Cerakah, Shah Alam.. the entrance fee with your own MTB is RM10 while car is RM3.. kinda rip-off right?
