SMS is not necessary a must. It's just an additional option to notify the payment and get the top up done faster.
For immediate top up, you can call the top up center directly.

As long as you fill up top up center email address as per attached sample above, redtone will receive email notification from maybank. You don't have to email, sms or call.

Can. Redtone receive the money and they need to know who paid, what is it for and which account to top up, so you must tell them what to do with your money.
