You got to install the BB OS in your PC first then only the DM can detect and flash it into your BB. See page 1 for the download links.

If still cannot remember to delete the vendor.xml file.

He need to go to Maxis to update/change the PIN.

For BB you can't simply change phone by yourself. The PIN is lock into the phone and can't be changed.

Install .650. So far so good. Battery life ok. Less hour glass icon.

Just don't be too obsessed with the free mem and let the OS handle it. For that matter, I don't install Tinymeter, membooster etc.

Just did the .666 update.

First day, battery finish before 8pm because of the flashing and heavy phone call.

2nd day. Batt 70% at 6pm.

So far I encountered one auto-reboot, right after my bluetooth try to connect to the phone during an incoming call. Yes I am using the Nokia bluetooth that auto connect and answer a call.

Shrink your OS.

For me I removed all the unnecessary fonts, voice dial, wallpaper, ringtones (keep them in SD). Still got around 30MB all the time.

Added on October 10, 2011, 5:06 pm.668 is out.

still there. but if you shrink enough for BB to use it is hardly noticable.

If not shrink enough might cause reboot when there is a incoming call. (i think)

I've been using .668 for more than 1 weeks and the battery life is about the same as .666.

Over the weekend with minimum use it can last about 2 days.
