er... ur state punya tabung amanah.. lolx... ^^ if got.. applicable for first year.... in ipoh my frens got rm1200 just by filling the form..

but i missed the deadline haha.. some states got gah. lolx..

PTPTN wil b a form of scholarship.. provided u graduate wif first-class honours.. u can apply for conversion..

however, if u'd like to haf more options.. u can try d Biasiswa Tunku Abdul Rahman.. but u haf to make sure dat u perform during ur 1st year 1st sem exam.. ur application has to b supported by ur school's dean..

besides dat.. there are a lot of other scholarships offered by banks, NGOs, organisations in d private sector n also MNCs.. do keep an eye on dat..

Got one more. Skip Latihan Tenaga Pengajar (SLTP). after you finish, you'll bond with "Jabatan Pengajian Politeknik" and become a tutor @ lect at polytechnic. But sadly, for this year they closed already. Me feeling wanna test applying it next year, if I make a decision to enter unimap...

About long hair, maybe you need to cut it short first during the orientation period. Already stated in guide book....

i suggest dat u cut and groom ur hair well for d orientation week.. dats when ur photo wil b taken for d student id card (we cal it d matric card).. d photo wil b thr for 4 yrs (3 yrs for business courses).. unless u wanna look like bob marley or some other long-haired chaps in ur matric card..

after dat week, u wan ur hair to be like bob marley or a lion.. its up to u.. d lecturers wil assume dat u r adult enuf to take care of ur personal grooming.. they wont gif a damn..

Ya, the orientation is in Main Campus in Ulu Pauh I think. Haha. I found Putra Palace Hotel but duno how far it is from Ulu Pauh.
As near as possible would be good.

d 6-month internship period is done and dusted.. long gone..

since d interception of d eac chaps to our engineering syllabus, 6 months of internship has been chopped down to only 3 months.. it wil commence during d sem break between d 6th and 7th sem.. n honestly.. vy few companies wil accept a 3-month intern..

putra palace hotel is kinda far from ulu pauh.. u haf to take a big turn around town to reach d campus.. plus, its relatively expensive..

i suggest u find some hotels in kuala perlis.. both putra brasmana hotel and seaview hotel are nt a bad hotel, considering their reasonable room rates..

hotel seri malaysia is another option for u to ponder over.. its new (not even a year old), but d room rates r a bit on d high side..

did the unis provide us place for intership. bcoz 3 months is kinda hard to find a company....
