HI, can intro me your contractor pls?  Does he pau kar liau everything or just cabinet/woodworks?
Thanks.

i actually contracted an ID for help. but he didn't do much to help in the design. i was liaising direct with the sub-con (carpentry). will pm you his contact. not sure if he will take the job without going through the ID.

thanks man if u don't mind i using ur design also but different color tone...

btw bro u wall mount the TV? Hiding cabling into wall?

I was wondering if management allow me to do so, don't really like the idea using back panel

heheh
*
hehe not my design. i took it from home-designing.com. this is the link.

ya, i wall-mounted the TV. then got a black panel to hide the cables behind. Because mgmt doesn't allow me to hack. as you have seen, my cables are not yet hidden hehe. still work-in-progress.

the black panel i bought from the car plate accessories shop. no need buy glass. cheap and effective in design effect also. (but scratches easily, just like car plate.)

I dont think so. I like it coz you can keep everything inside, and still control from the outside through the gaps.

So it keep things tidy and you can even put your game console into the cabinet and control it when the door is closed.

If there is no door on the cabinet is still fine as too many things inside that generate heat will cause your equipment to fail.

I don't think there is an issue with ventilation. There are sufficient gaps at the front and cable outlets at the back to allow for sufficient ventilation and cooling.

the door opens like this

Looks like the gap is good enough for air flow. Is good looking cabinet.
