the competitiveness of the competition needs to be maintain, with the respect to the malaysia achievement, if they cant even put a good fight during the qualifying rounds, what is there for them to show in the asia cup given free spot was gave?, we dont want to go there only to get beaten and return home nothing

this is a good test to see how Qatar can live up to the expectation of being host to a major football tournament.

I would say Australia, Korea, Japan, or even Bahrain could be potential champion

This competition has been reduced to only as dress a rehearsal for World Cup 2022..sad.gif.. thats what people will be talking about all tournament long.

many of long serving Asian Stars will be missing after this.. but i also like to see how new stars like Kagawa and Honda do....

i have no doubt that Japan will win this one.. but i am more interested to lookout for the darkhorses and spoilers.... India showed they have something during the Asian Games... DPR Korea also hope to give an in-your-face performance to the capitalist world..

The top three finishers in the 2007 tournament: Iraq, Saudi Arabia and Korea Republic;
