I am not quite a spammer but I never hesitate on shooting. Why save your shutter? Not like you take a few more photos will reach 100k so soon. And don't ever worry about reaching 100k and your camera will spoil. I used my ex D40 for 1 year+ and resulted in 20k+- shutter only (without saving shutter count). Heck, when I sold it it's still clicking perfectly.

OT: @edwardgsk you mentioned RAID 0, i've read about RAID in some websites but still can't get a hang of how to make my harddisks into RAID 0 or any RAID number.

Can u pm me a guide of how to change it? And is it possible to change to Raid 0 without format? thanks

Can't be helped. Many new DSLR user very concern about shutter count one. They think 100k or 150k shutter count very easy to reach like that.
Think it as salary money. Even if earn RM3k per month, don't want makan or minum also think easy wanna save up till RM100k or RM150k meh

Depends, not usually without flash on the D700 . ISO performance so cun, when shoot stage events can actually use their spot lights and ambient. The flash would just kill the atmosphere.

No la -.- its just a pair of small arms. Once you get used to it, no issues.

i was trying d700+VG+sb900 mounted with 2470.. and my hands are shaking..
after that, remove the VG and couple it with sb700.. aaahhh more comfortable.. 

My D700 shutter count now is 38k, after about 9 month usage.
