Today I call Nokia Care, because they supposed to call me yesterday, but of course, they dint.
So I ask about my N8. They said they identified the problem and its my motherboard. They say it will take around 2/3 weeks for new mobo to arrive.

Bila giliran I sampai, I tanya dia. Dia cakap diorang tak perasan new mobo has arrived.
. Thats their official excuse anyway. I think the REAL excuse is that the new mobo has arrived, but they want to take their sweet time assembling all the phones rather than doing it instantly. Maybe repair one, then teh tarik, then repair another, then mee goreng etc etc etc.
So in conclusion, I guess my persistence paid off. I got my phone back with new mobo in just 3 working days. 5 if you count sabtu and ahad.
