Mostly your choice bro.. I currently think the N8 is slowly creeping up and starting to pull it together. The ovi store looks better now and new stuff keep on popping up. I still remember when the Iphone was first lauched.. their app store was extremely dumb.. but after a few years look at it now . I mean its up to you lah.. but right now I love my N8 to bits.. wont let go.. just waiting for the firmware update in jan...

Guys I have a big problem. I Installed Whatsapp! on my N8. After installing that, I did not like how my phone batt was dying so i decided to unistall it. Now my 3g/edge/ data does not seem to work. Whenever i am away from my home and If i try to use my 3g connection to surf it says 'Acess denied'. I have deleted the destinations of all my configurations and gotten new ones from Maxis itself. Sigh its still not working. Does anyone have any idea?

I am not sure if you guys have noticed this bug.. for me and and a few people i know.. when you sometimes lock the n8's home screen, it will lock but the backlight will not go off. This only happeneds once in a while. Basically this usually occurs when you restart the phone. Has anyone gone through this.... its a major irritating bug which i hope is fixed come next patch.

Nah man.. dont have that.. but it happened for a my friends as well.. Its a bug .. thats why i tend not to restart my phone at all .

I think he meant that the screen is on.. but the phone is on lock mode. Meaning the screen does not go blank. I had that issue as well. It frustrated me like crazy yesterday. I just basically gave up.. and did a hard rest a few times.

I can suggest one thing.. it does happen but try and hard reset the phone and once it comes on for the first time.. move it to a page that has no widgets and dont touch the device.

Hard reset meaning to hold the power button until 3 vibrates occur and then switch it on again. It might help. I really hope the new firmware fixes this.. if not bye bye N8.
