hehehe... experimenting on another new mods... light sensor disable and the UI cut down to 30fps (default 67) and complexity down from 8 to 5 (default 7)... see how it go...

06. Photo/Video (100/30FPS)
- Photo quality change the compression ratio from original 85/75/60 to 100/85/75, video will change from 25FPS to 30FPS and the capture audio quality will change from 128kbps to 256kbps.

this is the best and should install this one compare to the other 2?

Added on January 5, 2011, 12:06 ambtw,after we unmark the mod that we dont want during install,the list will appear again with the mod list,but it come out all the mods name including the ones that i unmark..is that normal? will it only install the one i mark or install all?

the 100 quality take lots of space for the photo (upto 12MP per picture) and it will have delay after each shot as huge photo data need to be safe... not really recommended... i use the 95 for now...

that mod just improve the pic quality am i rite? btw,about that second part of my query,is it true?

the 95 take N years to process image.i uninstalled it d.

woooo.... the light sensor disable mod will totally off the light sensor and causing the screen always at 100% brightness... only when u select the power safe mode the screen will dim after like 3 secs but will 100% again when u touch the screen and dim again after 3 secs idling... good or not ah...

the UI seem a bit more smooth when lower the fps...

The screen so BIG but have to use the tiny 2mm scroll bar to scroll down the address bar.
Just ditch the browser n write a new one from scratch...

really boh... i didnt really feel the shutter lag leh... every snap took 1~2 secs gao dim liao...

Added on January 5, 2011, 12:25 amhehe i think Andy might like the light sensor mod... as remembered he keep complaining the dumb n8 keep on dimming the display whenever he's in dark place no matter how he set the light sensor...

i agree.make the scroll bar bigger pls.

manyak slower...before mod,about 0.5 sec gaotim process image.after mod about 1.5-2 seconds to gaotim process image.

but the 85 compression ratio are too much... u will really see artifact jpeg degration...

maybe the reviewer didnt know it has kinetic scroll? coz some videos i watched the seems like dunno how to use n8. they treat it as 'oldfag symbian for oldfags' no fancy UI..

i didnt install the image mod only.other all did.

did u full zoom the images u take?? sure u will notice the jpeg effect... big no no for me as sometimes i'll crop my photos...

anyone has the quick pro panorama for n8? its paid app
