Octoberfly: if your place can find water machine.
Buy those which has RO water. It only cost rm0.10 per 1.5L at serdang.
Don't use tap water.

I know it's a little stupid to ask this question here. X_X My tank has plants in it and it's doing pretty well with my millions of guppies O_O.

I introduced my guppies first actually... plenty died before the tank was properly cycled. While it was under the process of cycling, I changed dechlorinator from the RM1 (that u get anywhere) one to the RM16 one. (LFS owner recommend one). After I use the expensive dechlorinator right... MY FISH... rarely die. Got lar u noe... 1 or 2 due to fin rot, then I'll spam medicine and others are not affected...

but now the LFS moved to somewhere far already and the one near my  house doesn't have the dechlorinator. I still have the RM1 bottle that I kinda reluctant to use. X_X but the RM16 one is finishing! I was wondering if I should use the cheap one or I should go and buy.

I know it's like a dumb question but I don't wanna waste resources also... The RM1 bottle is still full man >< I'm just afraid that my fish will all start dying and my plants will wilt X_X

hmmm.. how come ur RM16 one finish so fast ? lolx, after u got new fish, u should acclimate them slowly for few hours, dun just throw them in tongue.gif

for guppy, i think they will be ok with the rm1 one, just dun overdose that, and prepare the water few days earlier icon_rolleyes.gif

also try not to do water change more than 50% per week.

u can consider adding black water once in a while, ur guppy will love that...but will make ur water brownish for few days... hehe

Edited : It's around 1.8 US Gallon, (Converted from 7Litre water)
Rough measurement :
H 7.7 Inches
L 9.5'
W 6.9'
If u really care about your fish, why not travel some distance and get a better dechlorinator.
You might bring home some new fish / plant and introduce them into your tank  rclxms.gif

However, the death of your fish might caused by other factors such as Filtration ? Overdose of chemical med ?

I think it was because my tank wasn't cycled that time sad.gif Since I have the tank for more than half a year now I think it's properly cycled already... (hopefully). I would be willing to go somewhere else and buy the dechlorinator but the RM1 one leh? =o Throw? ><

You use RO water? but then how much do you usually need per water change? 1 ringgit? >< U collect them using water bucket ah? If RO water means... no need dechlorinator? O_O

Ermmmm...the rm16 bottle quite long already... more than half a year luuuu.. and it's a tiny small bottle xD HMM, since you say so I think I might just use the RM1 bottle that I still have until my next visit to other stores in Sri Rampai. I didn't acclimate them for a few hours O_O I just let the plastic float on the aquarium for about 20 minutes? >< then i remove the water in the plastic and add the fish in. is my method wrong? >< Cuz I do that all the time and the fish never die after that =x (last time i used to just throw them in lar >< my bad. sad.gif)

Where do i find black water? O___O but I have albino corys in my tank so I'm scared they can't take it ><

Each time I change water need 3 x 5.5 L. So is around rm2 lo. Better use some money buy RO water than risking my whole tank.

You're in luck to get it for RM4.50 per tail, last time SLS selling it for RM5.00.
Anyway, where is the LFS that quote you that price. Care to share.
