Planted tank don't need carbon though.

Added on April 19, 2011, 2:26 pm

Try not to overstock on fish in the aquarium. Less potential problems.
*
yupe, planted tank should not use carbon, it will absorb the fert

but without carbon, ur water won't look clear i guess, thats when purigen come in ^ ^ purigen have good review in cleaning / polishing the tank water to very clean and clear one

Ciohbu: you mean that purigen clean the water but never absorb ferts?
How much is LFS selling ? Hmmm interesting smile.gif
*
yes ... quite lots of good review online .. haha.. thats why wanna try

http://www.plantedtank.net/forums/fertiliz...n-question.html

http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=chro...en+planted+tank

about price, i think sure more pricey than carbon smile.gif but worth it if can clean water without losing fert, plus purigen can be re-charge / re-use

just got reply from Advance reef - distributor of Seachem products in malaysia

RM50 for 100ml
RM82 for 250ml

based on seachem , 1L of purigen can treat 4000L, means 100ml = 400L
