ya..working good for me.
last time im cracking fast web installer and downgrade market, i just skip this part mount -o remount,rw -t yaffs2 /dev/block/mtdblock1 /system .. its work. but try run first ok.
but if still insist just try ... chmod 777 /system then chmod 777 /system/framework..
im not pro in adb.. but i just hentam sajalah for some other command and its work. haha!
but currently im using droidexplorer.. and replace those with it.

sometime hard to use cmd command ' cd ' to navigate the android sdk tool folder.
i just make simple tutorial to make easy to navigate adb.exe. just open cmd then just type adb shell. and its work. dont need to locate anymore.

hello....i got problem here with flashing the 2.2 firmware to 2.1 eclair...

i open odin...OPS i select EUROPA_I5508_v1.0...owh,,,the I5503DXJG5 local.rar that i download seem cannot be open for all files...i extract but it says wrong password...but it did extract but not all..without the PDA and EFS files...boot,phone and csc files got...i already tried both password that had been given...

at 1st, i try to use one package and change the I5503DXJG5 local.rar to . tar so that i can use the one package function...then i press down mid and on button..the download sign appear....then connect with cable....then odin response detect!...so i press start...it after a few second, it hang and show that odin is not responding....

2nd time i try it become a lil bit different...no hang...in the bottom left column say startthhread downloading 1- 10 then setup connection....

i wait almost 15 minutes...nothing happen....

so i unplug...then i manually put BOOT,PHONE and CSC files...PDA and EFS i cant put anything since the extract failed to extract all item...then plug my phone and odin detect....so i press start... here is the detail...

so what is the problem here ya?....can someone help me to solve this problem.???..the reason why i re flash it back to eclair bcoz i think my hp got battery problem....in 5 hours the battery will finished....i didnt even on wifi...just a few message and a few calls...so i think there is a problem with the battery....i check the battery info and it says

cell standby 41%
phone idle 40%
display 4%
other %%%

so i want to ask does your phone have the same problem like me which the cell standby take 41% out of the battery??....

hope someone can help me....feel very frustrated with the phone....

did you extract that 5503DXJG5 local.rar? . this one cannot use one package.. untick one package. use all the .md5 in it.

i extract..but cant open all..only got CSC,BOOT and Phone files...the PDA files seems failed to extract reason wrong password...i dunno y..i alerady put both the password given but still cannot...

thats happen because corrupted rar while downloading. using idm? try use default downloader.

no i didnt try different battery..dun have any extra batt....they say using froyo will drain your battery life..so i tought that is the source of my problem....

want to ask u guys again...izzit normal your cell standby will eat 41% of the battery and phone idle 41% also...

why dont use motafoca mod? if you dont know to adb. its ok. just use leaked froyo with setcpu for now.
~ the battery is ok. but need calibrate. charge 100% then use it till phone off its own. the recharge back till 100% then repeat this process about 5 times.
~ after that battery problem will be gone. using it with setcpu will enhance it. not as best as motafoca mod. but still just ok if u afraid to flash those great mod.

im doing this currently. personally i think with the motafoca mod. the batt seems to last longer than with the 2.1. It is able to last me one whole day with extensive usage of wifi text and calls

the problem is my battery only last 5 to 6 hours without using anything...i charge for 10 min and the batt indicator from 0 to 80%...i charge for 3 hours ignoring the batt status since it is not logic the batt charged that fast....so after 3 hours, the battery drains really fast..same as before...i dont think that is normal la bro....or is it?

last time using leaked froyo i just do that process five time its all ok now.. last about 1 and half day with data network enable.
