guys, congratulation. Finally it's here.
BTW, I wanna ask, I rooted my WF when it's still @ Eclair (2.1). If I ever un-root it now, & upgrade to this Froyo 2.2, will the rooting process is as same as UnrEVOked3 v3.21 ? |

Let see today how many pages we will get, since V4 only start yesterday night.
I am figuring around 30 pages by end of today (11:59pm). |

QUOTE(v1900130 @ Dec 23 2010, 11:47 AM) I think you need to go for Hard Reset. Backup your things first la. I read once in HTC. But I can't find it now. But you can refer to this, because the steps are the same. Referrence: http://www.knowyourmobile.com/smartphones/...c_wildfire.html QUOTE Please note that all data will be deleted from the HTC Wildfire as a result of this procedure. This process does NOT delete data stored on the microSD card. We recommend backing up all of your personal data before proceeding. 1. Turn the power off. If your HTC Wildfire is frozen, pull the battery out and reinsert it 2. Hold the Volume Down button 3. Press and release the Power button 4. You are now presented with a menu that allows for Fastbook, Recovery, Clear Storage, and Simlock 5. Select Clear Storage by pressing the Volume Down button 6. Press and release the Power button 7. Now simply confirm your decision: Volume Up for YES and Volume Down for NO If you selected YES, all data including third-party applications will be deleted from the HTC Wildfire. Once the wipe is complete, the phone will reboot to its factory fresh state. Hm...I wonder this will also help to easy un-root our phone? |

hm, I wonder if those who updated to this SEA Froyo, could copy out the file from OTA & upload to some server for sharing with better bandwith?

I have DK Froyo from official Europe. The weather forecast also not working well.
I think it's defect, still possible there's a patch to fix it. |

Facebook notification works on my DK Froyo (rooted device).
CyanogenMod + setcpu = long batt life. Set profile, overclock @ main & underclock when screen off. This post has been edited by danieloo: Dec 24 2010, 07:57 PM |

CM 6.1 still have camera issue. That's why I shifted to DK Froyo. Well, overall, CM6.1 is good. Can use setcpu to over clock for better performance, while under clock when screen off which can prolong batt life. Just not perfect yet with camera portion.
While DK Froyo that I'm using now, can't over clock due to kernel issue, which cause wifi not working. Nothing is perfect just yet. |

I am so mess up with my phonebook now.
I have saved vcard exported to my sdCard. At the same time, Google/gmail account too. Now it's all doubled...this is annoying. I know I can choose to view which ever - phone or google. But still I do not know which is up to date. Haih... |
