QUOTE(harryfoo @ Dec 29 2010, 04:57 PM) If there's a GPS (not the phone apps ones) that can do it, I surely will buy it. You sure will LOVE Singapore. Because if you use your Wildfire with Papago in Singapore, it will tell you the Traffic Situation there.

Na,I don't think open apps will drain batt. The main reason may due to 3G/2G. Somehow, my wildfire could last me 18 hours of use. That include 20 min phone calls, heavy social chat like whatsapp & pingchat say approx 10min every hour. Well I only use GSM - edge speed. GPS off all time unless when needed. Oh, I also use setcpu to overclock to 652mhz & underclock to 382mhz when screen off. HTH

QUOTE(whitegoh @ Dec 30 2010, 01:03 PM) it really depend how u let yr phone run... i try use the stock apps, guess what??? 10% for a day only...It really depend how u use yr phone only. Wow...10% a day. Do you really use your phone for phone calls or any activity? Well I use this as my main line so, I need at least 10 hours straight use, that include use of social app to communicate with overseas college & local friends. So far, this phone satisfy my need. Well, next upgrade, there will be a lot options by next year. Lets with coming CES for more new models coming.

QUOTE(xngjn @ Jan 4 2011, 03:54 PM) ts forget to write something. he just go into install ruu. he dint teach how to install adb driver on pc. Bro, don't get people confuse. You don't need adb driver. Just download HTC Sync 3.0 from HTC support site. It's that simple. Get both files. 1) HTC Sync 3.0 (install) 2) RUU (execute) DONE!

BTW, I'm officially shifted over from WHITE WILDFIRE to WHITE DESIRE. Hand over my Wildfire to a Newbie (my Brother - who will change Nokia 5800) to his first Android. Not planning to sell yet, cos gonna lose alot.

I got my White Desire @ RM1900 from SenQ with free Bluetooth handsfree & Ori HTC in car Charger + extra 1 year warranty on top of 2 years from SiS.
I know, with extra RM400 can get Desire HD, I prefer the hard physical buttons instead of soft touch.
On the other hand, I'm creating another Android user...haha...

GPS are free to use,but some device with A-GPS like Wildfire, which require system data network to help initial positioning to lock faster. There could be minimal RM0.10 gps data charges chargeable for each locking. Sorry, I'm not sure if my phone were charge for data or not, cos I'm using unlimited data. Perhaps prepaid user can comment abit.
