you CAN use slax repo...

the system tray? is the black rectangle on the top right, after the clock

we don't use synaptic yet... we used to download apps manually, but it is easy to install

Well, actually KDE isn't that hard to use, and in fact, I found it more customizable than GNOME. What do you expect from one of the most mature DE? The founder himself wanted a very, very customizable desktop, without leaving the ease-of-use aspect.

must confirm that it can be used by user, else, BSOD that never exist in Linux will exists in simpleLinux hahahaha

new version is for each edition
mini, dvd, extended, rescue cd.. so we will wait the next 15 days - 30 days before new version is available for each of them

The background image is a trick to eyecandy the desktop... imagine we have black background, people will not find it useful...
