I think moderator can also try to do something like maybe make an automated block for phone numbers from being displayed at any thread.. If it possible to do so la.. It's just an opinion, I dunno exactly how cuz I dun even know what it's like to be a moderator or even how this forums work.. so like I said earlier.. If possible la..

The conman does not work like that. He simply huts for people posting their numbers here, and then straight away SMS them without posting anything at all on the forum. To me its better to have the warning banner right below the ad banner in every trade section as most people tend to refresh page and will always see the top page first.

erm.. actually what i meant is if no one can display their own phone no. then this con man had nothing to hunt la.. and in my own experience.. first time I join this forum I oso don't read all those warning above, just being careful with whom I deal with.. one of the way is run a background check on how many successful transaction the seller had made.. make a direct contact by PM.. if it's feel or sounds fishy I would ask for a picture with their name on it.. and last way to feel secure..COD.. If everything else failed.. then I better not to have the item (even though the price is UNBELIEVABLE) then getting cheated by my own greed..

There is a seller (like me) who prefer buyer to sms. so its really depend on how we got them alert.

Actually ho, I dunno if this applies to deposit into account but last time I was duped by a company into buying their dunno what privilege card. They say they are from may bank. So I gave all my details Including my credit card no. But after a few minutes I checked may bank web and they never sell such card in associate with other co. On the spot I called up the bank to cancel any transaction in the making and they succeeded.. I think in the case of deposit, maybe u can try calling up the bank say can hold off the transfer or not.... Give them the reason y u wanna do so.

Yes, off course u can. But if its let say from mbb to mbb, money will be in their acc immediately, and they r not dumb to wait until u call the bank to freeze.
